Welcome to the University of Montevallo Police Department’s website. Our commitment to law enforcement is a challenging and rewarding experience. As we provide the University of Montevallo with a full-service public safety agency that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the safety of our student body, faculty, staff and campus is our main priority.
We are a service-orientated, professional police department committed to the concept of community oriented policing. Community policing is a philosophy of becoming involved with the people we serve, building collaborative partnerships, and working together as a team.
We believe in passionate policing with a purpose, to impact a positive change!
To accomplish our mission of providing a safe and secure environment that is conducive to the education and employment of our campus community, we ask that everyone on campus work with us. Your support will be beneficial to the police department and help to solve problems. All of our police personnel are committed to serving the campus community and fulfilling our mission by being technically proficient and always acting in good faith.
We encourage prompt reporting of all crimes and suspicious activity to the University of Montevallo Police Department. This partnership will assist us in providing the best possible service.
